My First Day At ARCC
My first day at ARCC was really nerve-wracking. I was terrified to begin a new school while being PSEO. I had two classes on campus my first semester which were Weight Training and General Psychology. I had both classes with friends so that made my school experience much more exciting. I don't remember much of my first day specifically, but I do remember goofing around with my friends in the first classes while going over the syllabus. After the first day, I became a lot more comfortable at school and it was a great experience!

So my questions are:
ReplyDeleteDo you also attend classes at your high school?
Are all of the college classes accredited?
Do you have to maintain a certain grade point average?
I think it is a wonderful opportunity for young adults.
I don't remember too much about my first day either. I remember that it wasn't all that exciting. I'm in general psychology now and I enjoy it quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteI think alot of what I wrote might have been from the first (couple) of days, so don't worry it's hard to remember specefics, especially when your just basically going over the syllabus.
ReplyDeleteStarting college left me really nervous too. One of my first classes was psychology as well. I had a good time in that class, and really loved the professor. Things weren't so bad once you got settled in.
ReplyDeleteI was very nervous too my first day at ARCC. As for class, Psychology was definately a hard class for me. I guess I just need to be interested in a certain subject to really get into it and understand it.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how it must have been doing it for PSEO. Even though AR isn't radically different from a high school it's not hard to imagine being nervous. It's great that you had friends to chat with, though.
ReplyDeleteI would have nervous doing PSEO as well. I agree with Kevin it's nice you had friends there with you to take on the new experience together.
ReplyDeleteGrade: 8/10
ReplyDelete• Spell out acronyms (ARCC and PSEO) the first time you use them and put the acronym in parentheses behind it. Don't expect your readers to know what you're talking about. This is the way to write the sentence: My first day at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) was really nerve-wracking. 2X
• The names of classes (just like departments) don't need to be capitalized. 2X
